Bastion Square Market is located in the middle of Victoria's historic downtown core, just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the Inner Harbour. • Fresh meat, seafood, and produce
  • Handcrafted chocolates and confections
  • Homemade salsa and jam
  • Tea and coffee from local small businesses
  • Hot meals and chilled drinks

The market always has live music at lunchtime, making this a great place to grab some food during a busy day in the city. They're open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

Moss Street Market - Victoria, BC

Address: 1341 Thurlow Road, Victoria, BC V8S 1X3

Moss Street Market technically runs year-round, but their busy season begins when they switch back to regular market hours in early May. They're also one of the longest-running farmers markets in the city, celebrating 35 years in 2026. Their impressively long vendor list includes:

  • More than 20 local farms
  • Over 40 prepared food and drink sellers
  • More than 80 artisans and craftspeople
  • Local branches of non-profits like Canadian Blood Services and CIBC Run for the Cure

Starting on May 2nd, you can visit the market every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Porter Park and on the grounds of Sir James Douglas Elementary.

James Bay Market - Victoria, BC
