Michell's Farm Market is known for selling high-quality produce near our Central Saanich homes for sale. They've been owned by the same family for six generations and have operated for more than 150 years in total. Visit them to pick your own regular and sugar pumpkins in their sprawling open-air pumpkin field. When you're done, head inside the building to pick up:

Lohbrunner Community Farm - Victoria, BC

Lohbrunner Community Farm is a small farming co-op that aims to make small-scale agriculture more accessible to Victoria's residents. Their yearly Pumpkin Festival invites locals to visit the farm and pick out some organic pumpkins grown by the co-op members. They grow everything from decorative mini-pumpkins to unusual heirloom varieties that are sure to spark some creative ideas for your next fall display. All proceeds go toward supporting the farm's initiatives for the rest of the year.

Galey Farms - Victoria, BC

You'll know you're pulling up to Galey Farms when you spot their iconic giant garden gnome alongside the road. Half theme park and half family farm, this place features:

• A working ride-on train
• A corn maze
• A marooned pirate ship playground
• A western-themed play area
• Several massive dinosaur statues
• A recreation of an Egyptian sphinx

There's even a hay ride that will take you out to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Visit later in October to catch their award-winning seasonal haunted house attraction Carnevil.  

Dan's Farm and Country Market - Saanichton, BC

Dan's Farm and Country Market has a thriving pumpkin patch with plenty of squash, gourds, and pumpkins to choose from. They've dressed the field up with colorful painted standees that enhance the picking experience and make great photo backdrops for candid shots of your kids. They also let visitors pop by to see the animals they keep on the property, including chickens, rabbits, goats, and cows. If the critters are feeling up to it, you and your family may even get to pet some of them.  

Silver Rill Corn - Saanichton, BC

Address: 7117 Central Saanich Road, Saanichton, BC V8M 1Y3 

Silver Rill Corn Maze has been growing premium corn for Saanichton residents for nearly 100 years, but did you know they also have a small pumpkin patch? They grow both standard-sized pumpkins and a variety of smaller pumpkins, squash, and gourds. Visit them to pick up a pumpkin or two of your own, and you'll also get the chance to try out their massive fall corn maze. 2025's version is their largest and most difficult maze yet, making it easy to fill a whole afternoon with fall-themed fun.
