• Victoria's Canada Day - 501 Belleville Street, Victoria, BC V8V 2L8 
  Victoria's Canada Day is the city's biggest Canada Day celebration, taking place on the lawn of the Parliament Buildings from 3 to 11 p.m. The main stage will feature a variety of performances throughout the day, including traditional dances by members of local Indigenous tribes as well as speeches, live music, and much more. You'll also get to taste food from all over the world at the International Food Village set up along Belleville Street. Take your kids to the play area to enjoy educational activities from organizations like the Royal British Columbia Museum and the Victoria Bug Zoo. Once the sun sets, look up to watch the city's first celebratory drone show and a spectacular round of fireworks. 
  
  
• Gorge Canada Day Picnic - 625 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1R7 
  The Gorge Canada Day Picnic has been running every July 1st since 1999, offering locals a day of food and fun that wraps up well before the nighttime festivities start. This year's event starts at 8:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast on the Gorge Waterway. After that, the festivities will continue until 4 p.m. You'll have the chance to purchase goodies from nearly 30 food trucks and a market bursting with locally sourced products. Planned demonstrations and activities include a car show, an art show, canoe rides on the river, puppet shows, a kids' zone with inflatable play equipment, and even a paddock of live ponies for kids to ride. 
  
  
• Canada Day Family Fun Fair - 2295 Ocean Avenue, Sidney, BC, V8L 3Y4 
  Residents of the area near our Sidney homes for sale can start their festivities early at the Canada Day Family Fun Fair in Iroquois Park. Scheduled from noon to 4 p.m., this event starts right after the city's parade ends and features carnival games, musical performances, face painting, and other fun activities. It's a particularly good choice for families with young children, offering plenty for little ones to see and do in the early hours of the day before their energy runs out.  
  
  
• Langford's Canada Day - 1089 Langford Parkway, Victoria, BC V9B 4B4 
  Langford's Canada Day 2025 will be held in the Starlight Stadium, one of the biggest entertainment venues near our Langford homes for sale. After kicking off with a pancake breakfast at 10 a.m., the celebration will continue all day before ending with a round of dazzling fireworks at night. From live music and a magic show to craft stations, an arcade, and lawn games, this event has it all. There will also be a designated quiet area where guests can spend time reading, playing board games, or just relaxing between activities.  
  
  
• Sooke Canada Day Celebration - 2249 Sooke River Road, Sooke, BC V9Z 0X5 
  The 2025 Sooke Canada Day celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fred Milne Park near our Sooke homes for sale. This event is mainly geared toward families and offers a bouncy castle, a dunk tank, a magic show, water hose games, and balloon-twisting demonstrations. Adults can enjoy food from local food trucks, listen to live music performed by the Lateshift Band, and shop at a small community vendor market. There will even be a round of free Canada-themed cupcakes given to all attendees around noon, so visit earlier in the day to claim a sweet treat.
