Game On: Discover the Best Pickleball Hangouts in Victoria | DFH Real Estate

Pickleball has quickly become one of the most popular leisure sports for BC residents. Our real estate agents first tried it a few years ago, and several of them still play regularly today. If you think you'd like to join them, there's plenty of room on Victoria's courts. Check out the locations listed below to find a place to play.

  • Carnarvon Park - 2801 Henderson Road, Victoria, BC V8R 3C2
Carnarvon Park is a sports park near our Oak Bay homes for sale with four public pickleball courts inside its lacrosse box. Be warned, though: from April to September, you'll have to pay to reserve a time slot if you want to be sure you'll get to play at a specific time. You're also welcome to play for free at any time when the court is not in use. Check the online reservation schedule before you begin so you can complete your game before the next person with a reservation arrives.

  • Greenglade Community Centre - 2151 Lannon Way, Sidney, BC V8L 3Z1
The Greenglade Community Centre near our Sidney homes for sale has two indoor pickleball courts inside the main building. Court time must be reserved in advance and bookings cost $7.25 per person for adults. Small discounts are available for youth and seniors. To make sure all participants can enjoy games appropriate for their skill level, certain time slots are only available to experienced players.

  • Tolmie Park – 927 Leslie Drive, Saanich, BC V8X 2Y5
Tolmie Park has two dedicated outdoor pickleball courts on its grounds near these Saanich homes for sale. They're free to use and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payers are asked to limit sessions to one round when others are waiting and play doubles when they can to maximize the number of people who can use them at once. The courts are also closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, so make sure you plan your visit accordingly.

  • Archie Browning Sports Centre – 1151 Esquimalt Road, Victoria, BC V9A 3N6
From May to late September, the curling rinks at the Archie Browning Sports Centre are converted into pickleball courts. This recreation centre near our Esquimalt homes for sale offers both drop-in slots and full-court rentals, making it easy for players to play alone or in a group. Booking a drop-in slot costs $6.50 per adult, $5 per senior, and $3.50 per child under 18. Renting the full court costs $30 and buys you two hours of playtime.

  • Victoria Pickleball Centre - 2950 West Shore Parkway, Victoria, BC V9B 0B2
The Victoria Pickleball Centre has six indoor pickleball courts that operate year-round. They offer court access every day of the week for $10 an hour per person, with 12- and 48-hour passes available at discounted rates. If you want to play more than the occasional game, consider joining one of their regular drop-in sessions. Each session includes six weeks of playtime during a specific time slot for just $20. Some sessions are reserved for people of a specific age or skill level, so make sure you fit the group criteria before signing up for a slot.
